Got on Alan Henry yesterday and did okay. fished from 9:30 to dakr with a 1.5 hour lunch thrown in, pretty windy. Lake is VERY clear in the main lake, up to 6' visibility. Caught 2 fish on motor oil worms, 2 fish on swimming white fluke and 2 fish on spinner baits. Basically, hit them in the head while they are yawning. About 25 boats were on the lake yesterday. Was going to fish today, but the big motor wouldn't start and my partner had the stomach flu, so we shut it down by 9:30. 3 bites on the white swimming fluke. They were just hitting it once and not holding on. The motor oil fish were in about 5' of water in Big Grape, the biggest fish was just over 2 lbs and came on the fluke. Off a roadbed in about 18' of water. Fishing the fluke with a 1/8th oz. weight and a clacker, so to make some noise. Wish I had more to report, but we had over 20 bites, but only the 6 fish. Hope this helps. We did not bed fish, but a lot of people were. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Forgot to say that water temps started at 51 and worked their way to 61 in the dirtier water. Water clarity main lake was 6+ foot. Water clarity in Gobbler was about 1.5 to 2' depth. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck. OH, the female 2 lber we caught was full of eggs and about 16" long, so she was not quite ready to pop and she was aggressive on the swimming white fluke.
