MY WIFE HAS RA & WE CAN'T DO A LOT BUT WE BOTH LOVE TO CATCH & EAT PANFISH. CAN ANYONE HELP US OUT WITH A CORPUS CHRISTI AREA PRIVATE POND, LAKE, BARROW PIT ETC. WHERE WE COULD CATCH A MESS FROM THE BANK? WE'RE RETIRED & CAN'T PAY A LOT BUT WE ARE WORLD CLASS TRASH PICKER UPPERS & GATE CLOSERS. THANKS, TOM & JUDI

To the Texas Fishing Forum! I have not fished in the Corpus area but I have heard that lake Corpus Christi has a good population of sunfish. You may also want to start traveling to some of the State Parks. I have fished Choke Canyon before which is not that far from Corpus and did pretty good on Crappie and Bluegill. There are two parks there with lots of bank space and easy walking.

Lake Corpus and Choke Canyon have good populations of sunfish with lots of bank space.
