Awesome post Chuck. Will be fishing the Nueces Canyon a couple of times this year for sure. Will be there in April! Plan on fishing in the Canyon for three days. Any information on motels or camping sites? Again super post.

Thanks Curtis for the reply. You will have a GREAT time fishing the canyon. Lots of camps along both the Frio and Nueces Rivers. Chalk Bluff has a camp site along the Nueces. They also have a Web Site. There is also a camp site just outside of Camp Wood on FM 155. As for Motels,Uvalde has several nice ones there. There is also a Motel on Fort Clark Springs in Brackettville.

Great place to stay! I would make my plans for sometime after Labor Day.  Park workers say they stay very busy during the summer months.
