Ok so I am taking the my two boys 8 and 11 to Galveston to spend Saturday goofin off and plan on fishing! would like to get them catching some fish hopefully easily.....any pointers? thought about the piers but also can head over to bolivar...what tackle should I bring?

and I do know some of this is covered in SEVERAL other posts.. but was just wondering if I could get some direct answers as some of those post describe us bait soakers and different stuff like that lol!!

I would say your best odds are fishing the bottom with dead shrimp if you're just trying to get a lot of bites. Might even get lucky and catch a nice red.

Shrimp or cut mullet. Squid could be good. get out early to find a good spot. Good luck my friend
