Hey guys, I'm headed to Fork in a couple of week but I just moved up to Flower Mound area from Houston. What is the best way to get over to Fork from that area? Google maps gives me a few options so I figured I'd poll the experts.

From BPS Grapevine area, I like 635 to 30 to Greenville, 69 to Emory, 515 to Fork.

I come from Denton and do this except I take the Bush or 190 over to 30.

i drive it from The Colony about every week and tried many of the route options. I generally follow the directions Ranger1 stated. Unless I plan to stop in Bass Pro in Garland.

This is my usual route. EZ low stress route and it usually takes me 90 minutes.
121 to HWY5 to 380 to Greenville 69 South to Emory left on 515

If i'm in a hurry and its early AM or after 8pm I will take 121-DNT- GB- I30 route to 69 to 515. This route gives you more highway and opportunity to speed. Can do it in 75 minutes in low traffic at 85mph. but I gave up speeding, at least for a while.

There's only 1 way to Rock

If you take the route above, don't take Hwy 5 directly to 380. Turn right at the cemetery at Industrial/Eldorado and proceed to the next stop light. Turn left (airport will be in front of you) and follow this to 380. Knocks out a bunch of traffic lights. I always go this way from McKinney.

Since you folks seem to know the best routes through the metro-mess, what is the best route to Fork coming in from I-20W(Abilene)?

From Flo Mo take George Bush to 30. Exit 205 and take 276 all the way to Emory.
