Of the four seasons, what size plastics do you use? I use 11/2" in the spring, 2"in summer fall, occasionally 3"in winter depending on depth and cover I'm fishing.

I would rather die finding out there was no God than die finding out there is.

Summer I use 1.25" or smaller after the shad start spawning. I fish big baits 3-4" during the winter and 2-3" during the spring.

To me size doesn't matter, but tend to user larger size April-September, smaller in the cool season. I've been catching them right now on up to 2" plastics (crappie thunders, Bobby Garland shads, and large panfish assassins). Everyone's different.

I tend to use small baits year round, unless there is adequate reason to upsize.

All depends on the forage (shad) size
