Has anyone wrapped their cork handles with the new Winn Grip wrap. I have four older Falcon rods that have cork handle wear and tear. The Winn wrap looks like it may be an easy fix.

Never used their wraps, but did buy their replacement grips and put them on my Duckett Ghost. Love them.

Tennis racket grip is just as good or better and cheaper. Been using it since the late 80's.

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

^^^ This. I started doing it around '91. Still cheaper than buying the same stuff that is in a package designed to catch a fisherman by the wallet.

Do not like the wraps. I do like the grips though. My Kistler Mag 2 has them. There is a shrink wrap that has the feel of the Winn wrap but the nowhere near as good as the grip. I also had some older Falcons and the shrink wrap is what I used and it has worked well.

Haven't tried the wrap but the grips are where it's at. They do stain easily though if that's something that bothers you.

Grips are great when they get wet also.
