I have a Mercury Pro XS and I'm having problems with the rigging hose popping out of the ferrule in the cowling. I'm wondering if the hose is a little too long and binding up in the splash well when turning. Anyone ever had this issue, and if so, any ideas on a fix.

I think it should have a groove or something similar to hold the rig tube in place. Mine did that same thing. I got tired of messing with it and used a half roll of electrical tape to hold it. Maybe someone else came up with a better fix and will share.

Super glue seems to work on everything else, maybe try some. Mine broke where it attaches to the boat. Had to buy a whole new tube and the plastic housing it fits over.
