Anyone remember their very first reel?

What about your first baitcasting reel? What was it?

Do you still have it? Got a picture? Post it up if you got it!

I traded 5 wooden buckets of goat milk for this when I was a young lad.

Pulled in lots and lots of bass with it.

Abu Garcia 5000 combo. Second was a Shimano "Fast Cast" on a Shimano rod. I had those at around 6yrs old.

My VERY first reel, like most, was a Zebco. Dad weaned me from that at pretty young age, though. I cut my teeth on these starting about 6 or 7.

Was called the "crappie buster". Was basically a Snoopy pole and spincast reel.

First bait caster was a $20 Diawa. Still can't believe I taught myself to throw a baitcaster with that thing.

Zebco 33 was the first for me... Then I was introduced to one of those red round Ambassadors. Learned how to untangle birds nests on it before catching fish.
