I've got a car that hasn't been started in almost 3 years...been in storage.(not climate controlled)
This car is a classic, so give me serious advice please.(sorry...I just remembered I'm not in OT here, lol)

What should I do before even cranking it over?
Drain the gas?
Treat the gas with something?
I'm not sure but I think gas tank is about 3/4 full.

Thanks in advance.

Treat the gas with SeaFoam. Turn key on if it's electric fuel pump and check for leaks in fuel line. Fresh battery goes a long ways. Most importantly, remove he car from inside the storage unit before attempting any of this. Gas fumes can lay low, and any spark inside an enclosed room could be deadly

I would at least try to drain the fuel tank. Check oil.

Agree that I would drain fuel tank and change the oil. Turning the key to the "on" position and checking for leaks isn't a bad idea either.

Never heard of spraying oil in the cylinders like in boocat's link, but I can see where that would be helpful.

just make sure you DON'T put the plugs back in BEFORE you turn it over a few times, oh,, and oil will go everywhere.
