Had Frank Gramh and Harry Seraukamp out for a trip in the misty rain. Fish had moved off the slopes . Found them on a hump 24 fow. Took a while to find them but when I found them it was on. Caught 116 in two hours nice fish. All fish were caught on chartuese and white ole uglies. Fly color did not make a differnce. Real fun day with a couple of ole fly fishers . They proved they could catch fish on rod and reel.

I have had several people call me and ask if the sandbass are back from the creeks. I don't think they are
because all of the fish we are catching are pre spawn fish. I have not been catching any post spawn fish.
This is the first time in two years that a large wave of fish have spawned in the lake. This is the way it
has been in past years. I always felt that as many fish spawned in the lake on Eagle mountain as went up the
creeks. But like I say the longer I fish the less I know.
