if you havent been out there before, or heard, that lake is very stumpy. Do a quick search using the search function and you can get a pretty good general map on where you can and cant run

For a first timer I recommend launching on the far south end off 175, used to be Deep End Marina. You won't have to worry about punching a hole in your boat and there are several good creeks and points to fish. Above the 155 bridge can be treacherous if you don't know your way around. Lots of clean area in Saline bay also. I suggest using google earth to locate other areas to launch and/or fish.

Its really not she is all cracked up to be guys. Don't get me wrong plenty of big fish and this is a good time of year to fish down south but don't expect much for your first time. sea walls, natural banks and docks. The shad should start spawning down south soon early on the sea walls.

No grass to speak of. Isolated wood/rocks/docks and retaining walls to fish.
