I just bought a bunch of these to put in flower bed. Didn't think to ask what they are called and didn't see a label on the pots. Spent all Saturday putting them out along with bulbs from other stuff. Get to looking more closely and find this stuff on all of them. Do I need to burn everything and start all over? Is that white scale? After reading about it... I'm scared.

Looks like Coleus. Looks like it might be some type of mildew. If it's Downy Dew there is not a lot you can do, but make sure you water at the soil and not the leaves and it should clear itself up as it starts to warm up, powdery mildew can be heled/cured with neem, Potassium bicarbonate and other fungicides, scale can we cured/helped with orange oil sprays.

Thanks.. I got a late start on treating stuff last year and wanted to ask questions as soon as I find something going wrong this year.

Definitely Coleus. Try watering early mornings giving them ample time to dry out all day.
