Amber w/green mirror was the best, I say was because Costa discontinued Amber, now it is copper w/green mirror.

You will be happy w/either green mirror or blue mirror. Very little difference in bright sun light.....which is when I wear sunglasses! :-)

In my opinion you want green, there is a decent difference between the blue and green, green is amber tint, blue is gray. The green will most definitly lighten things up a bit allowing you to see in shallower water. When I say lighten it's still blocking the sun the same as the blue, it's just the amber tint brightens what you're seeing.

For sight fishing, green mirror is best. Just ordered me a new pair of green mirror Fathoms.

The green mirror 580g..I didn't believe the hype until I found some I couldn't pass up the price on. I can see foot deeper compared to the other brands..

Look through a pair of the new Sunrise lens. They're not available in glass until the fall, but I spoke to a couple guys who've had them for awhile. They said "no need to wait on the glass. Get the "P" lenses in Sunrise and get them now. They blow everything else away". Both of those guys fish for a living and are on the water more than 300 days/year.

All mine are green mirror 580 glass. But like Fouz said, the new Sunrise lens is sweet. Looked through a pair at Fork with real low light conditions. Made everything pop!

Still better than our 580G Green Mirror according to these guys. I looked through them at the expo but you can't tell much in that light.
