Looking to get out on in the Laguna Madre this spring, and I am wanting the best chip for this location. Anyone know of the best Navionics/Cartography chip for this area?

I would look at the Navionics Webapp. You can check out the areas you will be fishing a get a feel for what the Charts will look like when you load the card into your GPS unit. Here is the link to the website. Navionics Webapp

If I was to go navionics, would the western gulf of mexico platinum + be what I am looking for? Or is there a better one?

The Gulf Of Mexico Platinum + is the best for your area. Its what I run on the Upper TX coast and LA coast
