I had the pleasure of having one of my really good regular customers Tommy and his wife Linda out today for some crappie fishing on Lewisville. The lake decided to show off some of her big fish today for sure. I was amazed at the average size of the crappie that came over the side of the boat today. They caught some monster crappie and ended up with 22 nice slabs. They also got into some small sandies a few times as well. Linda caught a 17 3/4" Hybrid on light line and that was a little extra excitement for her. Fish caught on jigs and minnows both. Most fish caught in 11-17 ft of water. They are so close to moving up to spawn right now. Great day on the water today.
