The fish I caught today had not spawned yet. Found some 58-59 degree water as well.

Fish in all stages. IMO the first decent size wave just pulled up. Water 73 degrees this evening. I sight fished a 4 pound smallmouth for the first time in my life which was neat. 73 degrees !! i thought the 66 I came across saturday was warm.

I agree with Barrett, the fish are in all stages. Out last week and caught six from a dink to 7 lbs. Yesterday I fought the wind, but managed to catch one 6 lbs. and two 2 1/2 lbs.
Sometimes you need to fish where it is difficult, but they are out there.

Mama's are still deep. Customer caught this 10.78 Tuesday March 22 on Jigging spoon in 25 feet. They're definitely waiting for the new moon.

The only largemouth I caught today was this one that weighed 6lbs 10ozs. I caught her in about 5 feet of water on a mostly bare stretch of bank. I was using a chrome sexy Shad KVD 1.5 and got the bite late in the afternoon when the sun came out and the wind started dying down.
