So I've been using google maps to find some new spots. This pond in the middle of the woods and is really close to my office.

Not to mention it looks like it could be FIRE!

Has anyone ever fished or made their way back to this pond?

It's north of 635 and just west of George Bush.

Good Map View

Don`t know about that pond but the one a little farther up PGBTP where it crosses Beltline RD behind the Dallas Pistol club is full of fish!I have been on it and grafted it with my electronics.Believe it or not. 2cents

Thats a low area that fills when the Elm Fork overflows. If it has water there should be fish in it. When the water gets real real low, you can catch raccoons coming out to eat the fish they catch.

That spot looks very interesting. Looks like it would be difficult find a place to park and bank fish. Not sure about fishing RIGHT BESIDE a gun ranger either. Can it be accessed from the other side of the bridge?

Trouble is getting to it. The gate for that Sam Houston Trail Park is closed 99% of the time. I live prob 5 minutes from there.

Lots of Parking underneath PGBT! If you go check it out you will see!The Kayakers love this place I`ve even seen a guy launch what I`d say was about a 17 foot Camoed aluminum boat with a 90hp Merc there from a trailer. When I fished it I was in an 8ft bass Raider and marked fish all over the place especially towards the back area where there is a little channel along the last set of pillings. The Pistol Club has taken precautions for exactly what you fear. It has a very high concrete wall. The water is very well protected from pistol rounds. To access it you will have to be heading south on luna rd just pass the entrance & exit ramps to PGBT. There is a red light there. After you go thru the light you will just jump the curb and drive down to the water.
