Hey guys I'm new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could get some flatheads from the bank I would prefer spots on a river or a small lake right now I'm looking at the west fork of the trinity (I live in Fort Worth) and that's the only place I can come up with and I'm not to sure about it because the record flathead is only 6 pounds but thanks to anyone that can help

Flatheads will move upstream and feed along the edges when the water is rising. Once they get to the bottom of a dam or levy they can go no farther and will congregate there waiting for something to swallow whole. I have caught flatheads in upper Denton creek above Grapevine and also below the dam at Grapevine.
Also below the dam at Lewisville in Elm Fork Trinity. Get you some good hand dug fat worms and some live perch and get after them. They bite good when it's raining. Biggest flathead I ever caught was on worms I dug up from underneath my dad's rabbit coop. Water was muddy and the creek was rising.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!
