I just happen to be watching some YouTube and I saw this video as a recommended video. I watched it and was actually in shock! This is one of my favorite shows and I think Ed is a huge reason why I like it so much. Him and Mike are a super team and made a great show that I thoroughly enjoy. I see this was published just a couple days ago! Man I hate when the producers have to go and change up the shows and then run off the best part of the show...the people!

Terrible news. The show will become another West Coast Customs, Uniue Rides, or Pimp my Ride. Sort of like Top Gear, the networks have to come in and ruin the product. I hope Ed does well in his future ventures.

I totally agree. WCC, UR, Bitchin Rides and the other shows are geared for guys with big pockets. Not everyone can throw $30k+ at a vehicle to "customize" it. Wheeler Dealers were much more down to Earth and actually taught viewers about buying, fixing and selling used vehicles. I loved the concept of them buying old cars for cheap, spending some time and money on it and giving the car a second chance.

They literally changed how I buy vehicles. Back in my youth it was common my buddies and I would buy old junkers. The local junk yard was a favorite shopping spot for me. As the years went on and I began to make more money I always bought new vehicles. But after my last truck and watching the show I realized how I was wasting my money and wanted to go back to fixing old junkers. I have a long commute. Bought my last truck new and after 5 years of paying it off, it already had 250k miles on it and was basically worthless compared to what I paid for it. Their show regained my interest in buying used, cheap vehicles knowing I would have to spend a little $ getting them running good again. Now I actually enjoy buying and driving "disposable" vehicles and I owe it to Ed and Mike. Man I'm going to miss that show...or I hope they get a good replacement for him.

I don't know what wheeler dealers is, nor do i know who that Ed guy is.

I guess it can be if you want him to be. He sounds like a man, he is like 7' tall...but if you see him as a woman...then enjoy.

Velocity Channel. I'm a car guy. I wouldn't have cable if it was not for that channel. It's 90% of what I watch on TV. I love all vehicles always have and probably always will...from low riders to monster trucks, old classics to new super cars, they are all cool to me in one way or another.

Heck yeah! I very much want a self driving electric car. Bajaj...also cool, but my motorcycle days are over. Maybe an enduro in my future, but no more street bikes.

I'm curious...what's your favorite then? Do you ever watch Gearz or Spike's Power Block?

I have been a fan of Chasing Classic Cars, What's My Car Worth?, and Wheeler Dealers for years. I am redoing an old car now and they give me needed inspiration to get out there and work on it. For a car guy, Velocity is a godsend.
