Water level still 8-10 inched low, temp 69-70 degrees and relatively clear. Fished from 8:00 am to 3:00pm using night crawlers on the bottom (upper half of lake). Ended up with 17 bluegill and 14 bass, all very size challenged. Biggest bass was 1/2 lb and maybe 2 of the bluegill were fry pan size. Checked fishing log from last year and had almost identical results. Probably head back to Fayette next week where the bass action is hot right now...also may try for a few red ear if the wind is not howling too bad...

Thanks for the Dunlap report. I have been catching Crappie and some nice eating size Bluegill on Meadow Lake. Crappie are in full spawn and are in shallow water 2 to 5 feet deep. Also getting good numbers on Mcqueeney. Any jig with Chartreuse in it seems to be working.

Thanks Vogey for the Dunlap report. I also have been catching a lot of small sunnies. I think once the current slows down and we get some stable weather the bite will pick up. Talked with a couple of bass anglers while on the lake last week and they stated it was slow going as far as the bass bite went.
