At 6:36 in the video I spot someone without their lights on & its pretty entertaining. The next week a boat without their lights on got hit & sunk so remember to keep your lights on people.

That boat was doing absolutely nothing wrong. Maybe read the laws before harassing other anglers.

Your way off bro! The way I understand it is you only have to have the navigation light on when you are navigating...not fishing. I don't think he did anything wrong either.

Lights or no lights where the guy was ran over was completely ignorant on the boater that hit them. There is plenty of light to see around that area

All I know is I called the game warden the other night on a small john boat that only had his front lights on because he said boats under 14ft didn't have to have the back light & the game warden told me all boats at night have to have both front & back lights.

As I read it unless you're anchored you should have all your lights on.

I understand a guy fishing to be not underway, therefore all he should have on is the back light. That gentleman handled you harassing him better than I would have.

The guy in the video was moving with his trolling motor so he was (underway) so the law requires him to have his navigation lights on.

Why would you turn off your nav light in the 1st place? It just doesn't seem very smart to me.

The people that got hit the week after I recorded this video were very luck not to have got hurt & I fish probably more than most of the internet trolls on here so I just want the people to be safe on the water for their safety & mine.

How's it dangerous? He's against the bank fishing... flip it on if you're running turn anchor on when against the bank. Guess why 95% of boats have nav light switches on the bow. This way you can kick them on if you hear someone coming.

The guy had an all around light on so he could be seen from anywhere on the lake. Thas a different situation that the boat with NO lights on. I would have had a problem with you yelling at me while I'm minding my own business.

The BIG problem is that I'm on the water at least 3 times a week & every night I see 1 to 2 boats running with only 1 or no lights on. So Im going to say something to anyone with their lights off for my safety and theirs.

Their lights were not off. And they weren't running.

Here is the definition of underway

underway |ˌəndərˈwā| (also under way)
adverb
1 having started and in progress; being done or carried out: the remodeling should be underway by July.
2 (of a boat) moving through the water: the ship was so huge and silent, I hadn't realized we had gotten underway.

Keep up the good work buddy. I'll see you Thursday. I'll be the guy fishing with one light on.

How do you get to fish so much? I always see you at Athens and you're fishing all these other places too!

Man he had the back light on... I would have ignored you. It's funny your're blasting him on video, and taking it way over the top. You kept asking and gouging. You may poke the wrong bear one day. I disagree with you and applaud the way he handled the situation.
