Was there on Saturday. Chilly overcast day. We found fish mainly in creeks near the bluff walls. I think it was called beaver creek. Great day on the water though. It's a beautiful lake.

Canyon Bass Club was there (Stephen is a member). And winning weight was 18 lbs. or so but not everyone caught a limit. I saw some bass starting to bed up.
There's lots of flooded brush. We did best on flats and near the back of the creeks. My partner got big bass of 6.93. My best was 5.7 lbs.
Most came on plastics trick worms and Senkos. Fish the brush near rocks. But that is all over so fish fast until you find a group. Then fish thoroughly in those areas.
Sorry, but I don't know the name of the best creeks.

We did, just got back and unloaded, went with no previous knowledge of the lake and no fish finder, A big nada on the stripers. We stayed where Clancy the guide is based out of . I did not talk to him but I did see his load, did well and the jug line guys did good. It was fun and I do think maybe I found a crappie spot right when it was time for us to go. Will know more for next time. Only saw one small flock of birds working the water. Wind was kind of an issue.
