I normally do well at Ivie but these last 3 trips Ive had my butt handed to me... very frustrating. Also, this last trip had my trailer harness ripped out on the trip down so even my boats getting its tail whipped!! Hope others are doing better out there!

It's been handing it to a lot of people here lately. Biggest fish I've caught is two weeks is a 5.2 smallie.

not that I want everyone else to struggle but it hurts less if your not the only one! I did talk to a guy at the ramp 2 weekends ago, after I threw a Jointed Claw 178 for 9 straight hrs to catch 4 rats... he said he caught an 11.11 and several 5's that day. I tried very hard not to hate him lol

My son and I fished in the kayak tourney saturday and prefished friday he got 1 about 14"friday and that was tbe only one between the 2 of us for both days.

It was Jeff Walker and he did catch that 11 on that Thursday about two weeks ago but like many it hasn't been the best since. It sucked this eve as well, two dinks.

Yessir, he was even kind enough to tell me how he caught em... did I listen? Nope lol, I went back the next day and threw the bigger Jointed Claw 230 for another 9 hours! Last good fish I caught there was a 9.8 on a drop shot, last June right after the water came up... havent been back until this year and now I'm remembering why.

Walker lives and guides on the lake doesn't he? I think I remember talking to him one weekend and he told me a story about catching an 11 and an 8 on the same cast on a Lunker Punker down by the dam.

It's true, I netted them for him that day.

Actually it was an 11 and 9 1/2, that was the good ol days.

Jeff walker does guide on the lake. Great guy put me on big fish last time I went out with him .

Moving here from Italy in 2014, Ivie gave me my PB first trip out and beat that 4 times since. So shes been good to me but Im feelin the burn so far this year!
