Took a couple of calls and speaking to a manager but they made it right.

Tacklewarehouse has always treated me like their best customer. I'd just order another spool, get them to pay 2 day shipping and wait to resolve the claim. If you're gonna quit TW what are you gonna do when Tackle Addict screws up an order, get on here and bash them, too? Things happen, don't let it ruin your day.

Things do happen. Just generally doesn't take 8 business days to make right. I won't lie though, I'm very irritated with their lack of concern. Ok, rant over. frown

We ship UPS every day from here trust me it is not TW fault. Customers blame the vendor for problems like this when it is usually shipping company(ups, USPS, FedEx) that has messed up. I know that doesn't help the current situation but it is not TW fault and I am affiliated with them in no way shape or form.

I can tell you that I work in shipping and manage accounts like TW, and they are typically just as pissed as you about the 8 day wait period, and they let people like me know about it. Sounds like it is not a TW problem, or at least that is what they are thinking.

They were filing a damaged shipment claim. The box it arrived in was the original tacklewarehouse box in good condition. Doesn't mean that someone couldn't have opened the box and stole the line, but it wasn't lost due to a damaged box. So ups will report back that the box wasn't damaged and I'll have to raise heck to get my line. The lady already told me they spot checked the inventory while I was on the phone and it was correct. Just a hassle that as a customer I shouldn't have to deal with.

Oh I understood that it was lost or maimed in shipping which happens all the time. If you received the box undamaged, there is not a second box on the way, and the product was not in there, that is a whole different ball game. That is the vendors fault and they need to send a replacement right away. They likely shipped the line to another person on accident.

I've only had one issue at TW that was their fault. And they corrected it for me right away with no hassle.

Well this isn't a perfect world. They have always treated me right and I will continue buying from them.

I once received a rod that had about 6 inches of the tip broken off and it was sticking out of the broken PVC pipe it was shipped in and it had been taped up by USPS so it wouldn't slide out of the tube. They did not care where, when or why it was damaged by them nor did they do anything about it.
