12th annual big mineral crappie gig. Last year's tournament was canceled due to the flood and subsequent tornado that hit big mineral but they've decided to make a go of it again this year. Kids are encouraged to attend and every kid will win something whether they enter a fish or not.

Was Big Mineral able to rebuild? I hope so. I was on a slip up there but after the flood and tornado, the owner hasn't reached out to resign.

Hope the event is a good one. Yall be safe. They've rebuilt the store but the lost boathouses are still not back. I don't know what's going on with that but I do know the marina is for sale. I was there for 20 years and after a year of waiting we moved to cedar bayou.
