Question for you all. I went to launch from Plowman's Creek Park on the Brazos friday and found out that it was closed from previous years flood damage. Is there anywhere on the Brazos or Nolan to launch from? I drove all the way around the lake only to end up launching from the state park again and ended up fishing there. Was hoping to get out of the wind some and fish the mouth of Nolan.

Thanks.

We took a guided trip in December and launched from Lakeside Village. It was free to launch and was just a short run to the mouth of the Nolan.

Thank you. Do you think I should be concerned with navigating the river? I am wondering about staying off of logs, sandbars etc.

Kimball Bend park is a nice place to launch from. Its an easy cruise to the Nolan from there.

There used to be a ramp up in the Nolan, not sure if it's still there. The meth heads may have taken it over by now but not sure

I believe it is Nolan river park. Not much there. If it rains it is hard to get too unless they did some improvements.

I've been leaving my truck at Nolan river park for years and will continue to do so. It's free, and Never had an issue.
