Well I made the hour drive down to Eufaula to fish with my dad and grandpa and boy did we find em. Most people have been catching them scattered between 1-20' but we wanted to find em in that 1' range lol. It took us about an hour to find he type of bank they were on and we found about 4-5 stretches that produced them up shallow. I was using my Falcon Rods 12' Slab Slayer with about 14" of line out. We ended up cleaning 59 and very few were caught deeper than 1'. It doesn't get any better than catching em on the bank! Water we found was 65-70. Most of them were big males with only 5 females out of the bunch. We filled up that ice chest real quick and then had to move to the livewell lol. I don't get to fish with my dad and grandpa together very often so it was definitely a great trip.

Doesn't get any better. Three generations and crappie on the bank. Fun times and memories.

Yep every crappie fisherman in the state goes down there this time of year lol. And everyone catches em too. Just makes you wonder how many crappie there are in some of those creeks
