Rock!!!! rock

Used an 8' Pro Angler to put a beat down on this 30 - 35 lb Flathead on Saturday afternoon on Lewisville.

And the tip didn't break and had plenty of backbone to horse him at times that would have broke most rods. Get you some Pro Anglers because they are some great rods!

thumb WTG Ron. Been several big cats landed on PA rods. They will hold up just as you say.

I could tell it wasn't a crappie when he bit so I didn't set the hook. When he came back to take a better look at my jig, I could sense he was eyeballing my jig so to teach him a lesson I stuck him in the eye. You see, I have been trying to develop my 'Spidey' and 'Jedi Mind' skills like Landon has so I can keep up with the little guy. He can explain it to you when he gets home from school and gets through with his homework.

DW, me too. I have one of the shorter/lighter PA rods, to go along with my custom made jig rod SlabMeSilly made me years ago.

One is for hair jigs, other plastics like assassins, thunders, and Bobby Garlands.

Plan on doing that DW when I get off these nasty graveyard shifts. I'll get a few hopefully Thurs/Fri at the slips. Til then, I'll toil here at the house.
