when u take your reels apart, do you use a spray them for cleaning and what with?

I've heard of people using Brake Cleaner, but I'd be cautious. I use Simple Green in my ultra sonic cleaner with no problems.

I hand clean every part unless its just to gummed up. Then they go into the ultrasonic cleaner with simple green.

Ultrasonic cleaner is the way to go. Much more efficient and much less work scrubbing individual parts that will still come out cleaner in an ultrasonic every time anyways. But yes if you had to use one I think ardent or someone makes both an aersol and pump spray variety.
