Well unfortunately.i didn't fish either had to work 2 to 12 Sunday (night shift) But apparently a 12.35 For big bass and another over 12 and another over 10 is pretty common and could happen on any lake. . .

Fished with an old friend of mine. Had a great time. Caught 10 fish on actual tournament day. I'm sure many anglers had their heart broken. Biggest one I caught left me a half an inch short of $15K...that's how Fork go...secondary point 10 ft deep with wood... t-rig brush hog

My buddy Craig Dowis was having a pretty sorry week. Got his truck broke into last week. We fished a tournament on Saturday and he had a new weigh in bag that we just ordered and got in. On Sunday fishing the Mega Bass he had someone steal it out of the seat in his boat while he was registering. Oh well, he won $ 900.00 so I am sure that softened the blow a little.

We had a good time, even though we didn't catch a weigh fish. Caught a ton of bed fish during the tournament just never could find one the right size.
Had a snake crawl in the boat in a creek.
We were in the back of one creek with about 5 other boats picking off bed fish and a guy in another boat had his pfd inflate about 50 feet away and it scared the bejezzus out of everyone in the creek. That was funny.
Everyone was very courteous though. On several occasions I had guys ask me which side they wanted me to have them go around while we were fishing. All in all a good tournament.

This was my first experience in this particular tournament, it was definitely different but a lot of fun! Still cant believe the amount of boats but everyone I came across was friendly and courteous. Havent been on Fork in 2 years and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of grass I was snagging on square bills, Lake seemed to be in great shape!
Early to bed, Early to rise Fish like hell, and make up lies!

Had a good time with my Brent Homan fishing...we caught 17 fish not the right size - afternoon bite was tough for us. Great time.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Girlfriend and I had a blast again. Caught about 20 with one being a little over 7 lbs but only 23". And several other slots and unders. Weighed in 4 fish but only one that won anything was a 2.26 and obviously chose the wrong hour to weigh it in!

No issues for us, picked the wrong area of the lake to bed fish. It was 60-63 and loaded with males. No giants yet but a few more days it will bust loose. Not as crowded for us as years past however

I guess its true,,,, you just cant fix stupid... I came close as I ever have to actually jumping in someones boat with the intent to do them great bodily harm sunday. coming to the 515 bridge n. side in the main lane, 65 mph with not a single boat to be seen except one coming out of white oak and he was not even on plane. still about 1/4 mile from the bridge this idiot decided to make a run for the lane and cut me off, had I not been watching his dumb arse we would both likely be dead. came from my left and the champion and I had to do a hard left across his wake about 15' across his sternat about 45 mph, I was starting to slow for the bridge I shut it down and let gave them a lesson in foul language and old fart rage. then an hr later broke the dam spring on my hotfoot and called it a day. I wish the organizers of ALL fork tournaments would put out a proper boat lane etiquette/law info sheet and make people sign it. the moron sunday kept trying to tell me I was the one in the wrong.

I will say this, fork fished pretty dam good this time out. except for the last hr. you needed over 9# to be in first. the last 3 I think only one or two overs came in and the rest were unders. I had been on some 2.5-3# unders on some docks but could not find them sunday. got this one there prefishing. story of my life lol.
