Hey , I was thinking about replacing my piece of [censored] piranha electric fillet knife for the season when I came across a video of this guy cleaning fish with a sawzall . Well at least it somewhat resembled a sawzall only much smaller. It looked like a Makita . This guy was cutting through some pretty large fish with relative ease from what I saw. My question is this , has anyone done this before ? this looks superior to my old electric knife. Where has this been all this time or have I been under a rock too long ? Here is the video , tell me your thoughts.<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sEMHmZhGMUc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It is fine for cutting a few big fish, but it is hard on the hand and arm to cut a 100 white bass with it.

I think I'd rather just have a good sharp Dexter knife, like one of these:

I emailed the filletzall site about the manufacturer of their blade and they told me it was Dexter Russell. As far as I know , Dexter products are all top grade. Come to think of it, Stanley tools makes adapter handles for sawzall blades so that blade could be electric or manual use . That sounds pretty cool to me .

Dexter is what I use and I can keep up with anyone using a electric knife. Just have to know where to cut and where to pull..
