  Trident 11 Went too put the battery in the hatch. POW! Seal is also coming off  Where could I get some material too build a strap? What glue would yall recommend for the seal?

IDK where you find material for the strap, but my gasket started coming off too. I just used a small bead of silicone to keep mine on. Holding strong still.
It's okay to eat fish because they don't have any feelings.

Wow! I guess it got pretty warm in there. The nylon webbing is readily available.I would just do my own sewing and fix it.

Marine Goop is he best adhesive I've found for kayaks, but there are others that will work. Those rubber gaskets have come loose on several of my boats; not an uncommon occurrence. I haven't seen those hatch straps separate like that before though.

Wow,I guess it got pretty warm in there! Uninsulated metal decking in West Texas. Satan himself wouldn't even hang around in here  Found some at Hobby Lobby for $1.48/ yard
