I'm staying at Lake Georgetown for a week or so while my bathroom is being redone. Just wondering if it's worth it to bring the boat up for some light fishing, cats or perch.. I'm not looking to fill the boat, just pluck a few for an evening meal. I never see anything posted about the lake and P&W doesn't do a fishing report on it, not that it would mean a lot anyway. The water is still a little chilly to break out the water toys.

It is a tough lake but you can catch some fish, just not every day in my experience. There are man made brush pile locations on the tpwd site and that would be the best place to start.
