I took my brother-in-law and nephew to Tawakoni from about 10:45 until 2:30 and caught about 45-50 sand bass, half a dozen hybrids and 2 catfish all on slabs. Then my wife and 2 boys met me and my b-I-l and nephew had to leave. We struggled to catch half a dozen once the clouds burned off and sun came out, but the last 45 minutes of daylight we found them again and caught about 3 dozen more sand bass.

I had the kitchen pass and went out there with my neighbor from 5pm to 7;30pm. Nada. Lots of boats but no one was catching at all. We hit the usual spots. Didn't mark any fish. Nonetheless it was great to be on the water finally after a long hiatus. We were back home by 8pm. Perhaps next time. Great catch by the way. Awesome trip there.
