I have to see about some tips for tying these though. I just don't think it should be as much trouble as I have, lol! This one is a two color Brush. Skip

I've never dealt with dubbing..... Does it hold the bulk when wet? I guess it would depend on the materials used in the brush, but I do believe this one will, just have not got one wet yet, but will this week since I finally got my boat back in the water yesterday! I am super anxious to try this one and others that I tied earlier that I posted. I am feeling like they will do well, but will see for sure soon. Now dubbing it's self like tied on a fly and not from a brush is going to depend on a lot of things in how it's tied. Normal just using dubbing the normal way it's used will not last as long as chenille, that is for sure! However there are ways to reinforce it to make it more durable, like using some of the rope-dub method to tie and with that you can actually use a piece of say copper wire to dub around and when tied it should last pretty good. Also there are a lot of patterns that use a colored copper wire to wrap over the body after it's finished except for the wire wrapping and this too should make it last longer. It offers a lot of options and different kind of materials you can use. You can even use what's left over stuff you usually throw in the trash can. You can also save clipping from flash and mix it into your dubbing so it will include some flash in it. It's just something you have to dig into learning what it's all about, but the dubbing brush is not something where you have to learn all about using dubbing to use. Hope I left that not confusing?
