That's a very nice fish! You never know what you are going to catch while fishing the Guadalupe River! Again nice fish and congratulations on your State Record!  That river is full of supprises my wife got me a ultra light today for my birthday and let me have it a day early so I'm ready to start targeting sunfish more now and be able to enjoy the fight instead of skiing them to the bank lol I have only started fishing for sunfish a few years ago. The only regret I have, is I should have started sooner. Nothing beats a sunfish fight on ultra light tackle.

I use it for catfishing but we were fishing for carp and didn't feel like retieng my other rod again so I just put corn on it

There you go! These fighters give you a battle on UL and L tackle. It's a shame when I see kids using a bass or inshore rig with 12lb test to catch them. They really shine on the Light gear.
