Fished across from the Las Colinas police station and caught 5 crappie and a very nice largemouth bass. Two crappie were right at about 15 inches and 2 lbs.

Yes and along the bank of the main pond. Also saw the remains of a few sandies it looks like someone cleaned further down where the little inlet connects this pond to that larger creek that breaks off from the Trinity and goes under Riverside.

Sometimes I throw my cast net there and cant even haul it out because the shad are thick in there. Billions of them

I fished the canals by McDonald's (across 114) yesterday. The bass are biting!!! Caught these 2 in an hour with black/purple worm rigged up on a drop shot.

I went back last night. I caught the small one first....so glad I didn't stop there!

Tackle box is 11" for reference.





BTW... had no clue there were Nutria out there. Big ugly rats!!
