The only negative about Spring Break 2017 is that we had to turn away business and disappoint a few Customers as our "Regulars" booked us up completely. OMG The Whites have been fair to good so far this week and we're getting a few Keeper Hybrids mixed in with a ton of Throwback 15" and Under Striped Fish! Today was a bit tough with the East Wind but still a nice box of fish. Monday AM and Tuesday AM were very good with LOTS of action, and Tuesday PM was an absolutely gorgeous day with tons of fish, but only about 35 Keeper Whites and a couple of Hybrids! We're catching the Hybrids mostly off the 309 Flats in 20' FOW on RSR Slabs(Color doesn't seem to matter)and the Whites are off Main Lake Points and Pelican Island. Be careful that you don't keep a small Hybrid as they are everywhere and the GW will probably be visiting this Weekend with the extra Boat traffic. coach

Here's hoping the remainder of the week is as good as the first three days! We've got openings starting the week of March 20th if anyone wants to get in on the action! Some Pics from the latest trips below:

Finished off the week with Adam having trips on a WINDY Friday and GREAT Saturday, and then I did AM & PM trips on Saturday. Friday's fish had lockjaw to some degree but the real issue was not being able to fish the better areas due to 20 MPH plus Winds. Just the opposite on Saturday as we had light winds and cooperative fish all day! One key to finding the Whites is that they are "holding the bottom " real tight. You may only mark a few bumps on the bottom or see a small # of fish on the side scan. Also, think "shallow" on the windblown points as the fish are about to spawn on the Main Lake. All our fish continue to come on RSR Silver or Chartruse Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) or on a Jig Teaser. You can find some fish on most of the well know locations....Windsock, 309 Flats, Pelican, but the larger schools will be on Points in 15' FOW or less. The Afternoon bite was better than the Morning bite yesterday.

Adam and I have a March and April Weekdays we need to fill. Give us a call if you want to get in on the action!
