Hello everyone, I do a little inshore fishing when I get a chance throughout the year. We usually head to corpus as its the closest place to hit the water. My problem is that I can never find any reds. I've found plenty of Trout down by bird island and that's fun in all, but I love fishing for reds. I have an area in POC that I can sight fish but I am completely lost when it comes to corpus. Can any one share where they have luck with sight casting to reds in the corpus area?

Depending on wind direction or lack of it: East flats, nighthawk bay, Shamrock cove, JFK flats (all three areas), Steadmans reef/flats, Dagger/Ramson flats Deadman's/Kates' hole, Pita Island, Klondikes, South Bay, Brown & roots flats, Lighthouse lakes, ULM flats, Boat hole flats, east CC bay shoreline. Hope this helps.

Yep, ... ya can't hardly go fishing anymore with a pesky redfish tugging on your line.
Blackened redfish is always welcome at my dinner table.
