Myself and Clayton aka The Wildman of the navidad caught a couple more Commons at a different spot on the Guadalupe River. Chumming and using corn for the bait was the plan. Fish were in about 10 to 15 feet of water.Fish were released to fight again. Catching some nice Common Carp while fishing the Guadalupe River. It just don't get any better! fish

No I've never caught one I seen one in the Colorado river that was at least 4 foot long ..town lake in Austin has an abundance of them but i haven't made it up there yet.....yet.....

Thanks Gitter for the reply. This is the first time I have targeted Carp. The only ones I have caught prior to these were small ones I caught on worms while fishing for sunfish. As for Grass Carp I have never caught one. thumb

May be this will be you guys year to catch a Grass Carp! Was told they are very good fighters.
