We will have door prizes again for every kid entered this year that will be worth more than their entry fee.

Didn't think they would move the "winter" Classic to such a late date. Oh well, the Door Prize pool is now over $12,000 so in addition to 120 cash prizes, lots of anglers will be going home with something.

It's big enough to make it interesting and fun but not too crowded.

KCKL Tournament Staff will be at Log Cabin starting at noon on Friday and going until 9:00 PM or later if anglers still coming in. Registration will open again at 5:00 AM Saturday morning. On Saturday afternoon you can register for Sunday until about 5:00 PM. Or you register starting at 5:00 AM Sunday morning.

Reports from anglers have been pretty good the past couple of weeks.

Good luck to all.

More Door Prizes have been added for this weekend's Tournament, now about 60 Door prizes per day for the adults. 40 Dobyns rods, 40 $60 Strike King Lure packs & sunglasses, boat stereos, rod & reels, bluetooth boat speakers and all kinds of other outdoor equipment from Academy Sports. In total, the adult Door Prize pool is now over $11,500.

Then for a $10 Youth Entry, the younger anglers get a Door Prize worth $40 to $80 or more (thanks Clifford Wiedman for hard work to put this together).

Several questions have been asked about how to win. You must be a registered contestant and you must be present at 3:15 to 4:00 when your name is called. During Saturday's Door Prize drawings the BBQ will also be going on.
