Just curious what Costas they(Basschamps) give away or if we have a choice on Costas when I win mine this weekend from Basschamps! I have some hand me down old Solarbats with green lenses that I love but I was wondering what y'all thought or if we get a choice etc. Thanks!

I don't know how I ever fished without my fantails. They are truly amazing. But it depends on your face size and shape. Medium face check out the fantails, big face check out the blackfins. 580P green mirror lenses is my preference.

Green 580p lenses
If you have a smaller head the Caballitos are great.

I use the "Hatch" with amber lenses. I don't think a "region" would require a specific type of sunglasses....IMO the amount of sunlight is the determining factor, as to which color lens is best. I buy my Costas at www.sierratradingpost.com Mine were $69.

I have to fish with my prescription Ray Bans classic aviators that cost me $400.00, I'm far sighted and without my glasses I can't see to tie a knot or else I'd look for something with amber lenses.

Most everyone goes with the green 580 lens.
Do your homework and go try some on... each model feels different. You will know right away when you put on the pair that fits best. Academy has a few to try on to at least get you down the right path on which model.

I've went through 3 pair of the fantails over the last 5 years with 580g lenses. Just bought a pair of the reeftons and really like them!

I will add that Chris at Classic Fiberglass has a pretty good selection of Costas. I got my Reeftons through him. He actually has a pair with the green 580P lenses on hold for me right now I am gonna grab.

Hell, someone already did! I'll buy you dinner next time we're at the lake. Sometime in April. Can't come this weekend. House full the following weekend (Classic) and my folks are coming down w/e after that.

I have 2 pairs of the Brine frames, with green glass lenses. I have always loved them, never had an issue!
