Anyone fishing catfish at the 1097 bridge? catch any going sat.

No one ever posts up anything that happens under the 1097 bridge. It stays there...period.

It seems to be a hot spot for guides. I fished it once with a buddy and while we were there two different pontoon boats pulled up loaded with people and they started fishing. While the were fishing, the guide started dumping scoops of grain in the water and they were filling the boat up with fish. So, obviously, it's a well baited area and worth checking out. You'll see numbers hand painted on the pilings and ropes attached that have been used to tie off to.

The numbers hand painted on the pilings are an attempt at mis-direction for the naive. The guides have offset pilings from those numbers to move people away from their honey holes. Things you should know.

Yep, we saw them fishing at non-numbered pilings. There aren't that many and a down-imaging sonar should tell you what you want to know.

Those Cats smell like Chum when you cut em open , the Folks chum that bridge so much the meat almost taste Rotten , your are what you eat Right! But if you are gonna fish it , better Chum er Up! You know what they say "Tell a Friend , The Good Fishing will end" .oh by the way! Get off my Stump! LOL .

Nice blue. No one ever catches them 'under' the bridge, that's why you have to stay away from that thing.

When I fillet 'chummed' channels, whether it's my 'chum' or some other fisherman's 'chummed' channels, the electric filet knife never cuts open that stinkin', foul smellin' belly to infect them prime fillets. Be more careful cleanin your catfish that you pot-licked from someone's chum hole. They taste dang good without soured milo stink bait all over them filets from rippin that belly.
Knows chummed channels.
