I figured for $45, why not? I ordered them and installed them on my new boat last week. My partner and I experienced worst case scenario a couple of years ago in TX Shootout. Penalty was a pound for a dead fish- cost us thousands. I am trying to avoid cutting into livewells on this boat to install direct bottled O2, and am hoping these will help me avoid that. Either way, can't hurt.

yes it does actually. observation is not a test. did you do any water quality tests, read dissolved o2, etc?

I'm not a scientist and don't make stuff more difficult than it is..... so no. I just fish.

I would say that real world observation is plenty good of a test for me.

I haven't had a fish die in the livewell in the last 5 years. I don't have any vents so seems real world proof for me that they aren't needed.

Who cares about scientific testing results. If they work for you and you believe in them then that's all that matters.

They work great product, price may seem high but worth it in the end.

I do. I have done the tests. I hate to see anglers scammed into buying something that does nothing.

I use an oxygen tank in conjunction with a good venturi system when I have a bunch of fish in the well.

The V-T2 sounds like it would have a slight affect but if you run your livewell on full time its not going to affect it much. The venturi system puts extra air into the livewell and its going to get out through any spaces that are available. If you're not running the air exchange is not going to be much anyway.

I have run no tests but the oxygen system is the best out there. A good venturi recirculation is the next.
