All of my wife's people came from near you: Monroeville, Purdue Hill and around there.
One half of mine, too: Dad was born in Birmingham . . . different part of the State, of course.
Alabama has some nice bluegills!!!!

I've passed through Monroeville on occasion. My dad's side of the family s from Birmingham. Home of Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird author. Lee was one year older than my mother-in-law, Jinx. Lee died last year, Jinx just a few months ago. They were school mates, later roommates at The University of Alabama for a year or so. Lovely place, Alabama, I need a trip to Gulf Shores!!! Brad

I went to UA and my dad use to take me fishing on the Queen of Queens down in Gulf Shores. Unfortunately it sunk, but the captain had a second party boat called the Moreno Queen.
