Next week is spring break at the HS I teach at. My wife booked us 4 days at the Doctor Creek campground at Cooper Lake State Park. I've never fished it but would like to try and introduce some fish to the cornmeal and bacon grease. Anyone got any tips for the lake for someone that has never been to it. No boat so it will have to be from the bank.

Never fished there before. You might ask someone in the office or one of the other park employees about the fishing reports and spots to fish. Hope you get some and post a report if you do.

Never fished there. Plus #1 on what Gitter Done stated. I will add to also get a carton of worms. Worms seem to work just about anywhere.
