It's called an Eatin Size. You just need about a dozen more just like that. Seriouly it's maybe a green sunfish/red ear hybrid
From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."
Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Plus #1 on both of the above answers! It is a Hybrid for sure! Either Redear/Bluegill or possibly Green/Redear! One thing for certain it's the perfect eating size!

My two cents it's a Hybrid. Redear,Bluegill mix. It appears as though kinda pale. Picture or hybrid characteristic?

I called them bream for bout 60 years. I like mine fried with the tails still on. Them crunchy tails are better than tater chips.

I would say Bluegill/Redear! I looks that way to me but I'm only a bait catcher I haven't earned my perch jerker title yet but like Mike said based solely off the mouth it doesn't look like a greenie hybrid
