Man they were slamming today at FPH. I think it was the PINK shirt. Gonna try it in a mini skirt next to see how it goes. LOL NOT. Saving that one for Scott. Winney boy couldn't go today because he is working cost reports. If he would start his day like this IT at 5 am he would be free by afternoon.

Nice catch Timmy!! Question? Does FPH has any creeks or river for them hybrids to swim up during spawning time ? or do they spawn right there on the lake ?

They usually try to spawn in the lake but I think Texas Parks and Wildlife pulls their little wieners off so they can't breed. They run at the spillway and up some creeks but I think in the creeks they get too much mud in their eyes so I don't do well in the creeks. One year when the creeks were up they came all the way to Abilene city park. The local carp fishermen didn't know what to do saying "Dem big fizes don't takes ma cowan bait." That was fun to watch with their cain poles. I will never forget it. They switched to cut shad and slayed them.

They will run against the dam with the whites but when that happens you really cant troll them there without some shore fisherman trying to bounce a Little George off your boat. That's when I will put on a Hellbender and run through fast collecting lures. LOL Not. but I wanted to. Believe it or not the north corner of the dam is the best spawn action. The 24 inch plus fish stay out deep and keep eating shad that the others left behind. Those fat girls have it figured out, the young bucks are just their for play with no rewards but you know in FPH their is always something fishy going on. On the way off the lake yesterday I watched a koot explode on the water and disappear. I think a gar got it.

I would be afraid of dust blowing up something that it shouldnt be blowing up in a kilt.
