Are there any bass fishing competitions for kayakers in the San Antonio/Austin area? How does one find that info?

Thanks!
Josiah

Check out KATS, which is run by ACK.

These are all bass tournaments I assume? Are there any kayak crappie tournaments in or around CenTex? I'm not much on bass fishing.

There are no full fledged crappie trails that I know of. Maybe a single event here and there, but probably hosted on lakes from Temple/Belton and north as there's a larger crappie interest than south Texas.

There's a big one on our pond at the end of March.

Depending on the weather, you might wanna think ledges. At least be prepared.

Let me know if I can help you in any way. I don't fish South of the bridge...TN wants too much for a license. Paris Landing is about 15 miles from my cabin.

Lake is at winter pool. So much of the bite is determined by how much current. They are not releasing much right now. Water temps are in low 50s.
